Rooye Loshan zinc industrial plant has been exploited in an area of 90,000 square meters and with a factory area of about 6,000 square meters in two phases and with investment of about 70 billion rials.
The first phase of this plant was built in 2001 and the second phase opened in 2007.
At present, more than 110 people are engaged in the factory ,laboratory, and 3 offices of the company.
About the method of work of the factory: after the Zinc soil from the mine carried into the factory, first step is to convert the solution to zinc sulfate, and then to zinc sulfate. The second step is the procedure of electrowining, which is by zinc electrolyticization from sulfate to zinc sheet and eventually into zinc ingot.
The nominal capacity of the plant is 22 tons of zinc ingot, and currently only 11 tons of ingot is produced due to a series of problems.
Failure to provide soil is one of the problems facing the production of this plant, and unfortunately, in spite of the fact that the plant is located adjacent to the mines, but because of the transfer of these mines to those who prefer personal interests to national interests at times due to lack of Supplying raw materials, factories may shutdown.
